Pelatihan Penyusunan KPI melalui Program Pengabdian Masyarakat untuk Peningkatan Efektivitas Kinerja Organisasi

Performance management plays a crucial role in improving an organization's efficiency, particularly through the use of regular and measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). However, many organizations, including medium-sized enterprises and community service partners, still face challenges in designing and implementing KPIs that align with their strategic objectives. In this case, the activity partner is PT. TIP, a company active in the halal product production and trading industry, which faces difficulties in measuring performance, particularly in the marketing sector. The problem faced by the partner so far is the lack of a standard and systematic performance measurement system. The objective of this activity is to assist the partner in developing performance indicators, how to measure them, and how to evaluate them. The method used in this activity is training. The implementation of the activity includes an initial meeting to determine the partner's needs, training in designing KPIs through interactive presentations, two-way dialogue, and case studies relevant to the company's situation. Furthermore, evaluation and monitoring are carried out through question-and-answer sessions and gathering participant feedback to measure the success of the training. The results of this activity demonstrated an increase in partners' understanding of the fundamentals of performance management, the principles of developing SMART-based KPIs, and their ability to formulate performance indicators related to the company's vision, mission, and strategic objectives. Participants' understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) increased from 33% to 67% after the training, based on pre- and post-test results. This activity is expected to be the first step in implementing a sustainable performance management system and improve accountability and operational efficiency at partner companies.
